Fossil Dinosaur Footprints from Connecticut / Jurassic / Grallator
Age: 200 Million Years Old
Location: Connecticut River Valley, Connecticut
Species: Unknown Theropods (Likely Podokesaurus)
Recently and legally collected in private property along the Connecticut River Valley. This is the fossil impressions of a Theropod (raptor) that existed some 200 Million Years Ago. While the tracks themselves are called Grallator Tracks, they were likely created by Podokesaurus Holyokensis. The reason why the tracks have a separate name is because the tracks were discovered before the first remains of Podokesaurus.
This specimen has been lightly polished with a clear sealant to help pop them out. The sealant May be washed or peeled off so the fossil can revert to its original state.
