Large Slab, Double-Sided Trackway, Fossil Dinosaur Footprints and Tail Drag
Self-Collected in Western Massachusetts! Ships from Massachusetts! Plethora of many footprints including a rare fossil tail-drag!
This 200-Million-Year-Old Slab preserved in Jurassic Mudstone, which easily recorded these medium fossil footprints, which remained moderately preserved.
One one side you have a few larger Therapod footprints that are true sunken impressions. They were likely created by a juvenile Therapod in the early Jurassic, and May have stood from 7 to 10 feet tall.
One the other side is a plethora of footprints all over the place! These are raised impressions, otherwise known as natural casts. There are many individuals which means that this was likely once a very active area. This truly makes this an extremely rare price.
They have been lightly polished to be seen better in natural light.
